Food Safety Certification Training

This food handler course will take you through the fundamentals of food safety for your food handler training certificate.  Once the course has been completed, you should have a good understanding of what foodborn illness is, how it is caused, and what you can do to help prevent it from occurring. 


STATE REQUIREMENT:

California law requires ALL food handlers in the state of California have a California Food Handler Card. New hires have 30 days from the date of hire to obtain a card. The card is valid for 3 years and can be renewed.


The State of California is now accepting the ANSI Accredited FHC course for food handler training and certification.  The certificate provided upon completion of this course is not valid in Riverside, San Bernardino, or San Diego Counties at this time.  These counties issue their own card.  Contact the health department for these counties for specific requirements and programs.

FOOD MANAGER CERTIFICATION IN CALIFORNIA

In the State of California, every food establishment is required to have at least one certified food manager who has successfully passed an accredited food safety certification exam, such as ServSafe. Certification is valid for 5 years.
 

The course can be taken online but the exam must be proctored at our office in Tustin, CA.  Convenietly located in central Orange County, minutes from the 5 and 55 freeway.  Contact us to sign up and register for the exam.

All purchases of the ServSafe Manager Online Course are final. Prior to purchasing, please review the technical system requirements to ensure this program will work with your computer configuration. Once you begin the course, you will have 90 days to complete it, at which time the course will be deactivated.
